Squareburst Workshop at Gotham Quilts
Learn how to make my first quilt-top-in-a-day pattern, Squareburst exclusively in this workshop before it's launch next spring as part of my first quilting book! A modern take on the dresden plate, this striking quilt can feature any combination of colors, or all the colors! I will help students with their fabric choices and layout to make sure everyone has a pleasing gradation.

Join me at Gotham Quilts in NYC every other Saturday night for Social Sewing from 6 to 10pm. Bring any project you would like to work on or you can pick up supplies at the store if you like to travel light. The classroom has a new fleet of Bernina sewing machines that are a dream to sew on. You can bounce ideas off your classmates and I if you need help or advice with your project. Bring friends, snacks or drinks - we always have a great time!
PATCHWORK AND QUILTING BASICS
In this two-session class, you will learn all the basics of quilting while putting together your own mini quilt. Skills you will learn are: cutting fabric with a rotary cutter and ruler, piecing the top with a quarter inch seam, pressing, basting a quilt sandwich, quilting your quilt, and binding the quilt.
